Privacy Policy

Developer

LLC Finance is provided by Shuanghao Chen, an individual developer. Privacy questions may be sent to clark.cn@icloud.com.

Data processing

Company names, EINs, transactions, income, expenses, owner funding, receipts, invoices, bank notifications, tax information, and notes are created or imported by the user and processed and stored on the user’s device by default. The developer does not operate a user-account system, sell user data, or operate advertising or cross-app tracking.

Email connections and bank-email recognition

When a user deliberately connects Gmail or Microsoft email, LLC Finance filters bank notifications, invoices, and receipt candidates only within the mailbox, folders, and date range authorized by the user. The App may attempt to identify amounts, merchants, dates, statuses, account last four digits, and reference numbers.

Recognition results are candidates for user review, not bank statements, bank-API data, or confirmed accounting facts. Unknown formats and low-confidence results remain pending and fall back to manual entry. Email OAuth credentials and app-specific passwords are stored in the device Keychain and are not written into transaction records or logs.

iCloud backup

If the user deliberately enables or starts iCloud backup, LLC Finance writes a backup to the user’s own iCloud Drive container. iCloud is provided by Apple and governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices. The current version does not provide automatic CloudKit multi-device synchronization.

Purchases

Apple processes the Pro one-time purchase and provides StoreKit entitlement information so LLC Finance can unlock its non-consumable Pro features. LLC Finance does not receive full payment-card details. After reinstalling or moving to another device, the user can use Restore Purchases.

Retention, export, and deletion

Local data remains until the user deletes records, uses the in-app deletion controls, or removes the App, subject to device backups. Users can export records, delete local data, disconnect email authorization, and delete backups already created in iCloud Drive.

Deleting app data does not revoke a Pro purchase maintained by Apple.

Tracking and children

LLC Finance does not contain developer-operated advertising or cross-app tracking and does not use financial content for advertising. It is a financial utility for business owners and adults and is not directed to children.

Changes

If the product later adds an account system, analytics, a developer-operated cloud service, a third-party SDK, or a new data flow, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before release. Material changes will be reflected in an updated policy and effective date.
